What we make

Six workbooks for jobs where the arithmetic is fiddly and getting it wrong costs money: pricing a cake, budgeting a renovation, settling an estate, running short-term lets, selling digital products, and keeping books for Making Tax Digital. Five are single .xlsx files between €7 and €13, paid for once and downloaded straight away. The sixth, the Digital Product Sales Tracker, is free.

There are also six free calculators, one question each, running in your browser with no email and no account. Often a calculator is the whole answer, and it shows you how we think about the problem better than another screenshot would.

How the files are built

Every workbook is generated from a script rather than assembled by hand, so it can be rebuilt identically and a fix can be applied without a stray cell being missed. Before a template goes out, its formulas are recalculated in LibreOffice and checked against the figures they are supposed to produce. A formula that has only ever run in one program has not really been tested.

We use AI to help write those build scripts, the sample data and a fair amount of the wording, including some of the wording on this page. We then open every file, read it and correct it before it is published. Nothing here is hand-made by an artisan and we are not going to say otherwise.

Every file ships with realistic sample data, so you can see the mechanics working before you trust them, and every file tells you how to clear it.

What none of that covers is your judgement. These are calculation and record-keeping tools, not tax, legal or accounting advice. Where a template mentions HMRC categories, MTD quarters, Schedule E lines or probate steps, it is organising your records. Rules change and differ by country, so check anything consequential with an accountant, a solicitor or the relevant authority.

What we do not do

• No accounts. Nothing to sign up for. Buying a file does not create a login.
• No tracking. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from a third-party server: no fonts, no scripts, no pixels. The privacy notice has the detail.
• No subscription. One payment, one file, no renewal and no expiry date.
• No macros and no phoning home. The workbooks are formulas only, and nothing in them connects to the internet.
• No update service. What you download is the file as it stands the day you buy it. If we publish a corrected version of something you already own, email us and we will send it.

How you buy, and who takes the money

Checkout runs on Payhip or Gumroad. On most sales of digital content to consumers they act as merchant of record: they take the payment, handle any VAT or sales tax, and send the receipt, which is why the receipt carries their name and not ours. The file, the support and everything promised on this site come from the trader named in the terms of sale.

Because the download starts immediately, the 14-day right of withdrawal works differently from a physical purchase. You only give that right up if the checkout asked you to and you agreed. If it did not ask, you keep it. The refund policy sets out when you get your money back, including the cases where we refund beyond what the law requires.

Support

Support is an email address: support@vendwright.com. No phone line, no chat widget. Tell us which file you bought and which app you opened it in, Excel or Google Sheets or LibreOffice, and add your order reference if you have one.

If a file is broken, will not open, or is not what the product page described, we fix it or refund you. It is in the terms, not just on this page.

The name

Vendwright is a trading name: vend, to sell, and -wright, one who builds a thing. Tools for people who sell things. The trader behind it, with the registration and VAT details, is named in section 1 of the terms of sale.
