Seven spreadsheets. Six bought once, one free

Every template is a single .xlsx file, formulas only: no macros, no add-ons, nothing that connects to the internet. They open in Microsoft Excel, in Google Sheets and in LibreOffice Calc. Each product page states the oldest Excel version that file was checked against, 2010 for some and 2016 for others. Each file ships with realistic sample data so you can watch the mechanics work before you trust them, and each one tells you how to clear that data in about two minutes.

Six of the seven work in any country and in any currency. The currency is a dropdown of eleven codes with a free-text box for a symbol that is not on the list, and no country’s tax rate, threshold or filing deadline is written into the arithmetic. The MTD bookkeeping workbook is the one exception: it is for the United Kingdom only, and its card says so.

Try the free calculator first

Most of the templates have a matching calculator on this site. They run in your browser, ask for nothing, and answer one question each. If the answer is worth keeping, the spreadsheet is the thing that keeps it.
